The Decider
Inspired both by his style of leadership and mastery of the English language, we knew we couldn't pass up the opportunity to give our 2¢ on the Bush administration, with emphasis on Dubya himself. We knew we wouldn't be able to find the time to create all new tracks by the end of the current presidential term, so we did the next best thing. We just borrowed our own instrument tracks from other original songs and recorded new lyric tracks. With the exception of one song, these "new" songs were adapted from tracks used on the Lawn Nazi project.

Lawn Nazi
We had a ton of miscellaneous instrumental blues tracks going back into the late 90's that could have turned into songs if only we had some lyrics and a singer to sing them. Finally, we just bit the bullet and did what needed to be done. Being just a couple middle aged white guys in the suburbs, we didn't have all that much to complain about, so these blues songs are not too sad.

Old As The Hills
We were in a jazz mood for a couple years back then. It's fun to play those melodic standards from the 30's and 40's, so that's what we did. There are no original tunes here. These are real classics, written by masterful composers like Jerome Kern, Charlie Parker, Antonio Carlos Jobim, and etc.

The next thing we'll do will consolidate some of what we've had in the can for a decade with some other stuff that isn't even completely written yet. We're still working on all of them, but some are ready to preview, but none of these are the final mix. Some are close... some not very close at all. We'll finish up sometime after the 07 holiday season.
